The MultiPulse HoPLUS is optimized for applications in Urological Surgery requiring high power emission, with a particular focus on Lithotripsy treatment.

The MultiPulse Ho is a surgical holmium laser dedicated to applications in endourology with a max. power of 35W. The MultiPulse Ho is the go-to device for endosurgical lithotripsy for the treatment of urinary tract stones (in ureteroscopy, ureterorenoscopy and for the percutaneous nephrolithotomy technique), common bile duct stones and salivary stones (also called sialolithiasis). Consequently, Lithotripsy with the MultiPulse Ho is an excellent alternative to the traditional ESWL (Extracorporeal Shockwave Lithotripsy), as it involves less risk of complications and a higher degree of efficiency and safety, regardless of the stones type to be treated. Compared to other surgical procedures, it features the undeniable advantage of minimizing both bleeding and movement of the stones (retropulsion) during surgery.

It is also an excellent tool for ablation procedures, incision and coagulation of soft tissue, providing maximum operating control and minimal damage to adjacent areas. The MultiPulse Ho offers a wide set of applications in surgery for tumors in the bladder, urethra, ureter and kidney.

MultiPulse Tm+1470 is the only system that combines a 1,940 nm Thulium:YAG laser with a 1,470 nm diode laser (maximum power 120 W + 30 W), designed to deliver the best performance in the operating room. The choice of emitting at 1.940 nm is not accidental. This wavelength is absorbed by water more than 1st generation Thulium at 2,040 or Holmium at 2,100 nm.

To have a more significant coagulation effect, the MultiPulse Tm+1470 is integrated with a 1,470 nm Raman laser, which can be combined as desired in the same fiber optics. In case a greater coagulation effect is required, it is sufficient to change from the “cutting-mode” to the “coagulation-mode”, selecting the 1,470 nm diode only by pressing a different pedal. The pedal control allows the surgeon to select the required mode without changing the laser fiber and without looking away from the operating field.
